Kandestederne’s legendary hotels ...
Kandestederne is blessed by a unique light and a magical energy, and the area has been a popular haunt for artists, authors and actors since the beginning of the previous century. The area lay an appropriate distance from the livelier town of Skagen, but at the same time was not too far away.
The charm, the nostalgia and the beautiful surroundings have been preserved, as a result of which many of our guests visit our seaside hotels year after year. You are taken back to a time of straw hats, white parasols and long white summer dresses; holidays in which you weren’t a tourist, but a guest. .
